The Wine

In 2003 we planted Viognier in the Serra del Castellnou at 400 m altitude and since then it has always been present in many of the blends of our white wines. 

After almost 20 years of overcoming this varietal, in 2021 we decided to make a 100% Viognier varietal in the purest Terra Alta style.

Yield of 4,500 kg/ha, manual harvest, 12-hour film maceration, vinification at 15ºC in stainless steel, careful work with the lees for three months.

White wine with greenish and yellowish tones. On the nose it is fruity with sensations of peach and apricot and at the same time spicy. On the palate it is fresh and unctuous with good acidity and a pleasant complexity.

Prohom Viognier is a personal wine with its own identity.
